Welcome to Wenable Labs

What this blog is for, what it isn't, and what we're going to write about.

This is Wenable Labs: the engineering and AI notebook of the team that builds WeGuard, WeDaaS, and WeSaaS — and the agentic AI systems we deliver for clients across MDM, fleet operations, telematics, and pharmaceutical quality.

What this blog is

We've been building enterprise software for twelve years. For most of that time we kept our learnings inside Confluence, Slack threads, and the occasional internal demo. That worked when the field moved slowly. It doesn't work in the agentic era. So we're going to share more.

You'll find three kinds of posts here:

  • Engineering — How we architect systems, build platforms, and ship to production. Real diagrams, real numbers, real tradeoffs.
  • AI experiments — What's working in the agentic AI era. Evals, fine-tuning runs, agent recipes, multi-agent coordination. Things we tried that broke, and things we tried that shipped.
  • Field notes — Lessons from real client deployments. MDM at 1.25M+ devices. ELD compliance for US trucking fleets. Multi-agent RCA in pharma. Names redacted where they need to be; numbers kept honest.

What it isn't

It's not a vendor pitch dressed as content. We will tell you when we used a particular library because it was the right tool, and when we wrote our own because nothing fit. We will also tell you when we got it wrong, because that's where the lessons are.

It's not generic AI hype. There is enough of that already. We're going to focus on what's actually shipping into enterprise systems with audit trails, governance, and SLAs — not what's happening on the demo stage.

Cadence

Two to three posts a month. Engineering-grade, not marketing-grade. If a post needs to be long to be useful, it will be long. If it can be short, it will be short.

If you want to follow along, RSS is on the roadmap. If you'd rather we just email you when something interesting drops, we'll add a newsletter signup once we're confident we won't waste your inbox.

See you in the next post.
